My wife called the VSC today to change our address, and the IIO told her that the case was approved on Feb 20th. I was getting concerned because the lawyer had send the RFE response (for employment letter) on Feb 13th, and till this day the AVM hasnt even been updated for the RFE receipt. It still says "RFE sent on Feb 1" etc.

My Details are:
Priority : EB3 , Oct 96 (cant believe its been this long)
RD : Sept 8, 99
ND : Sept 27, 99
FP : Aug, 00
RFE: Feb 1, replied on 13th.

Can anyone tell me if the address change today might create any problems. I changed address on my application on 19th, but my wife called today. Do they mail it as soon as approval is done ? What happens if it is sent to the wrong address ?

Thanks for all the informative messages posted on this site, i am not exaggerating when i say that it kept me going during the long wait and frustration.

Based on my case I was approved on 2/12/01 and they mailed
both original and courtesy copy out on 2/15/01 based on the mail stamp.

You may want to call again on Monday to make sure
where they sent the approval letter. If you have a
lawyer then he will get the original copy so I wouldn\'t
worry.

The approval notices are sent to attorney and you. Any one of them is sufficient for stamping.
