Got an online msg "request for additional evidence sent"

Hi.
I checked the status of my parents i130.
I have seen the msg saying request for additional evidence sent.
They sent me the mail today on 10/29/08
i have sent all the documents according to i130 instruction.
Can anybody tell me what other documents do i have to send??
I m waiting for the mail they sent me.

You may have sent all the documents but apparently the adjudicator needs to clarify something or needs supporting evidence of something before he/she can make a decision on the case. It's good news in that the case is moving.
You will have to wait for the mail to arrive and it will give you the details of what's being required of you. It could be anything, most common ones in the context of I-485 that I have seen are: birth certificate, proof of bona fide marriage, proof of legal immigration status, if you forgot to fill up a certain field in the form, incomplete medical exams report.
You may be able to get details by calling USCIS but don't count on it.

Nobody is going to tell you that. You have to wait and then send them whatever they want. That's exactly what happened to me. I sent everything to them and here am getting the RFE.

It's not a big deal (hopefully).

WTF.. I got the RFE and already replied to that but still USCIS website doesnt show that either RFE is issued or response is recieved.

And some people have even gotten RFE for documents that they had originally included - so don't be surprised if they are asking for something that you already submitted.
