Well,, I just receive a RFE for the evidence to show status of co-sponsor.

My co-sponsor is a USC but at the time we were filing he was too busy flying out of the country and could not locate his Birth certificate so we decided to use a copy of his drivers liecence. I have talk to him today and he should be able to mail me the copy to me by monday.

I should be able to get it across to them before friday and I am praying it will not delay getting my EAD. Am looking forward to going for my FP on monday

Happy Easter to all of us that celebrate it :)

My friend, look at the bright side. You got your RFE only 14 days after yout ND. Which is an indication of fast processing. You can send copy of his passport if he has one instead of his birth certificate, if that is anything easier to him.

I don't celebrate Easter, but Happy Easter to you :)

Good luck for what is coming. What's your DO by the way? Was it Cali?

I agree....The passport should be used show the status of the person and not the driver's license.

Do I file in NJ or Chicago?

I live in New Jersey - and will have interview this summer for citizenship. Do I file the I-130, I-485, I-765, and I-131 with the Chicago lockbox or the NJ INS office? Can I file the day of my interview if I get approved and have the oath also that day? Thanks for any replies.

You can file once you get your Naturalization certificate, as you will need that to prove your citizenship (US passport could also be used but obviously you wouldn't get the passport before you get your Nat certificate).

You will have to mail all of the forms you mentioned to the Chicago Lockbox.

Good luck. USC
