Got a question on dual-intent!!!!

Hello,
My wife & myself are planning to go to Toronto consulate for H4 & H1,
because of change in my employer. My wife is at her second trimester of pregnancy.
My question is...Am I blatantly showing off my dual-intent (non-immigrant to immigrant) by taking my pregnant wife to the interview, that can raise unwanted questions leading to refusal of our visas.
Also is there any visa/consulate/port-of-entry related issues if I drive to toronto.

thanks in advance.

------------- If you got H1 transferred through new employer and new H1 and H4 approval notice have I-94 attached you don’t need Visa to be stamped in passport. You can work with new employer. You did not post the details why you and your wife need new Visa stamp in passports.

----------I don’t see your wife pregnancy the reason for visa rejection.

-------------- if visa gets rejected then you and your spouse cant return to US from Canada and have to go directly to your home country from Canada for visa stamping

wife's pregnancy can not be showing off the dual-intent.

the vo may ask questions as to where you plan to have the baby and you can be honest about it to the vo.
you might also need a reason why you need a visa stamp.
it is unlikely that the vo will reject only one of the spouse's visa application in this situation.
