As for progress on the AOS matters, we are starting to receive approval notices for cases filed in March and April of 2002.

..........

I really don't want to add my comment to this.

Sent another mail to confirm whether these are CSC cases. Here is the relevant part of the mail and the answer.

Are these cases belong to CSC?

Yeah

These approval letters are from VSC. You can go to their board to take a look. CSC cases would not have that kind of luck for now, I guess.

ganshm

Thats what irritates. VSC folks are getting approvals without RFE's. Not only are CSC folks getting RFE's ( again at snails pace) because of some stupid rule applicable only to CSC.. but even after response they are not getting approvals . Since I have some time now, I will be joining the kashmir Fax petition drive . . Nothing else will work but pressure from all here.

did you lawyer tell you, if its CSC or any other SC?

Cases file in 06/02 are getting approved in VSC. How do we get this information to the CSC folks and ask them to be little bit more considerate .. I know this is a pipe dream .. but seriously if someone could just get some data into the CSC adjudication officers who knows they might be more active with approvals.

Kashmir,

How did you get this information. Is it on the basis of the projects you are handling that gives information about processing times.

Is it going to be more worse than it currently is?

Please advice.

Some part of information comes from the Project Kashmir and another similar projects at each service center forum.

I think so.
At least, the first week of November was worse than any previous month.

I can not find any reason it would be improved in near future at all.
We should see the realities without too much hope.

I emailed my lawyer about the processing times @CSC and if we need to send an enquiry about my case (now 20 months old)

This is what she says ---

They are processing cases received 12/16/01. Thus, your case is still
pending, and until it is pending past the processing time, an inquiry will
not be accepted by the USCIS. Generally you are requested to be
re-fingerprinted when your case is with an adjudicator.

----

Not very helpful.
