Good or Bad to EB after passed Religious Worker Bill ?

I think it is not too bad since that's five years. BICS doesn't need to allocate too much resource for that at this moment. Though it could have been better they didn't extend it at all, or extend it last year or earlier.

It does not affect EB petitions. The good news is that Religious Workers do not have to go through labor certification.

it is good nows

for the workers as for us we are likely to be kicked around as there will be some other special interest soon out there claiming prioirty over tax paying people like us:mad:

Tombaan:
Religious workers are not given preferential treatment as people usually perceive. Religious workers pay tax too.
I am non-ministerial worker. I did not go through labor certification. However, I started my green card process since 2000 and still waiting for approval of my I-485.

well

i am also waiting from 2000. as for preference there is someone to speak for all groups even the illegal immigrants but skilled workers like us:(
