any body knows when will they start to proces darn November 2001 cases??

When they would come to Nov 2001? - Some day after April 17.
Or today. Or tomorrow. Some guy posted here with RD 0f Aug 2001. Terrible!

It was my strong belief that you guys, whose priority date is behind, have an advantage because you gain the right to push them.

So I'd suggest don't be afraid to use every possible idea that you can find on this beautiful forum which is the best knowledge base I met so far.

I wish the very best luck for you personally and us as a whole! :) ;) :) ;) :)

How come then I am not approved yet if this is the case

Feb 15 date stayed there for 6.5 months. Let's do math.

As far as I remember, Feb 15 date first appeared on Dec 26, 2004 or about VSC report. And it stayed there for 6.5 months.

So if that only true, they have processed: Feb 7007/2, Mar 7435, Apr 10708/2 =~ 16300 cases in 6.5 months or 2500 cases every months or 100 cases daily.

Did we see 100 happy messages for approval every day?
In a lucky day we could see 5-7 at most and that was in June which was an EXTRAORDINARY month!

So I hate to say it but this was done just for PR!

voronv,

not everyone is a member of immigrationportal.com

I don't agree with your assesment ... if you have followed sbctsublc's data for 2002 which he posted every week you would have noticed that the approval rate was ~800/week then, when I485 was't a priority, with ~3000 cases touched per week (transfered, denied, etc) so if you do the math you'll get exactly your numbers. If you look at my data (http://www.immigrationportal.com/showthread.php?t=125115&page=1&pp=15) the rate is even higher now (do the estimation by interpolation). I think Apr 17 is far from being the exact date, the bulk of work now is somwhere between Oct 2002 - May 2003.

1. JIT Feb. 15, 2002, could not have appeared Dec. 26, 2004, because Dec. 26, 2004, is still in the future.

2. JIT Feb. 15, 2002, actually appeared mid-March, 2004, and therefore stayed for 3,5 -- 4 months.

3. JIT is a very poor indicator of how many cases are processed every month.

While I admit that I did a couple of mistakes in my msg (Feb 15, 2002 VSC proc date appeared later than Dec 2003 and I misspelled it as Feb 15, 2004, I disagree with your last assesment for exact date:
THERE IS NO EXACT DATE FOR USCIS PROCESSING. It's a fictive parameter designed to cut the ## of legal appeals.
There is a phenomena of seeing more approvals for Oct/Dec 2002 and some 2003 months, this is true. But it may have an explanation that MORE DECENT OFFICER is assigned to those cases, that's it.

Statistics for 2003/ late 2002 that you collect cannot be taken as a proof for 2002 overall.
The overall 2002 statistics is not getting published here anymore: it seems I unintentionally scared the guys by one of my postings that INS warns of improper usege of their on-line status checks.

I agree with you: current proc date is a bogus

You are right, it was a typo. I meant 2003.

My memory could have betrayed me, sorry.

AGREE: This is exactly what I was trying to assert in my msg.
