Good news if your case is pending longtime - you will get interview soon

Thank you AdoonAlle, this is a very good news for us waiting for years for interview. But again, I am not sure if it means much since the backlog is so huge and the 350 officers have just a limit of how much cases they can work on.
I keep my fingers crossed that we will all start to see our cases moving again.

I know there is a huge backlog but this is fair now and they are recruiting more Officers. Whoever applies first will get interviewed first.
I can see you your timeline that you applied Asylum in 2013 and you are a candidate to receive interview for the coming months. So be prepared.
Mine is pending 9 months.
 
You are right, this is the fair system. I am crossing fingers that you are right for my case because we are going through everything possible since 2 years ago.
 
I am sorry Konstantin. The only positive things while waiting is the EAD and look like yours might take 2-3 months because of the RFE. Keep faith though.
 
my wife just got her interview at SF on APR. 8. We had been waiting for that almost 2 whole years. We applied in apr 2013. Pls be a little more patient bro, maybe you would get a letter that tell you an interview is there 2 weeks late.
 
Yes, old cases have started to pop up. I've been waiting since july 2012. And just recently got interview finally. Now waiting for decision.
 
My lawyer told that some of her old cases started to get interview date. So they are actually reviewing old cases after long waiting time. It is New York office btw.
 
i have a question

if my case is transferred to another asylum office , does the asylum office consider it as a new case . ?

if yes that mean i am screwed and stuck in the middle
