I guess most of the 26000 old timers have missed the boatof approval by end of sept 2007, now retrogression have kicked in, I am really surprised if there is any applicant left whose PD is before the published dates for Oct 2007.

My PD is a year before the published date in the Oct bulletin.

IO said all my security checks are clear and my case is just waiting for a visa number, so hopefully this October will be the magic month for most of us!

Those 26,000 have been pre-assigned Visa numbers in July itself. Hence, all the approvals coming now are with an effective date of July / August though the actual date of adjuducation is later (current date).

Hence, please do not speculate and be optimistic.
