Good immigration lawyer in Atlanta?

I am planning to file citizenship very soon. I am wondering whether anyone knows about good reasonable (not very costly) lawyer in Atlanta, GA area.

What are the documents needed for filing citizenship? Is it possible to file by myself or will it be too ambitious?

Thanks in advance.

If your case is straight forward, you do not need a lawyer. All you need to do is fill N-400 form per instructions and send it with a copy of your GC with the appropriate fees ($390 one check). That is it.

If you have no criminal record, have'nt travelled extensively out of the country, do not have ANY ties with terrorists or mobsters then there is no need whatsoever for a lawyer. If you insist on spending money please tell me so, I will give you my banking account number, you can put in, let's make it cheap, some 2,000 bucks, and I will file it for you. :D

....and I am not even a lawyer... hehe

Good luck,

Beryl Farris 678-937-0713; www.citizenofusa.com. She's in Tucker off of i-285. Highly recommended, known her for years. Another recommendation is Banta Law (404) 249-9300, they're in Colony Square downtown.

My friend uses the services of Farris Beryl. She is very creative and was instrumental in his application for permanent working visa. However, her help, as with any lawyer, is limited only in these types of "gray" areas where experience matters. In straightforward cases she has no advantage over the ordinary intelligent fellow. Please recall that every time you talk with a lawyer you pay him appox. 200$ an hour. Would you want to do that? Finally, a lawyer will never care as much as you do. I have had another experience with a friend where the lawyer gave WRONG information. Only after we confronted her with the facts she bothered to make the calls to verify the information we provided her.
