Good attorneys - post em!

Hey bbqchick..

You are from LA right? I used my lawyer to file my paperwork but not for the interview. However, he prepared me well for the interview. He is an asian, one man show, immigration lawyer in Alahamra so you get more fast and one to one service. He knows his stuff and his fees are reasonable.

The best immigration lawyer I know Margaret Wong. She has offices in Ohio, New York, Georgia and Michigan. Her office based is in Cleveland.

She is expensive, I wouldn't suggest using her unless you really have a complicated issue and have money to afford her :)

Last time(2005) I went to her to check how much it would cost me to get a GC based on marriage, she qouted me $6000.

But like I say she is the best http://www.imwong.com/

Mike,

Just give me 1/2 of the $6,000 and will do your immigration paperwork... :D You can file for yourself and save the money for you and yours truly nice vacation in Fiji.... I wonder what why she needs $6,000 for?

Get unlimited attorney advice and don't pay much

I prepared and filed all my Adjustment of Status documents by consulting the immigration attorneys from Ross & Mathews: www.legalserviceplans.info. With the standard family legal plan I received unlimited consultations and documents review for $16 per month, which I think is a good deal. They do not represent you though. So if you want them to sign your papers, you would need to hire them and you'll get 25% discount from their standard rate. However, I don't know how much they charge as the consultations were more than enough for me. In California the law firm, servicing the same legal plan, is Parker Stanbury, LLP. I have a friend who lives in California and she's been using them for her immigration situation and so far she's been happy with their services. I hope this information is helpful. The good thing is that you can just try the service and, if it does not work for you, you can always cancel the legal plan. Good luck!
