Hi,
I'm just unlucky:(. I lost my wallet with my driver license in it. I just got a temporary driver license from DMV. It's just a plain white paper with no photo id. I saw the interview checklist that I need to bring gc, passport and A government issued photo id. Is my temp driver license OK? I tried to get a California state ID but it is gonna take 1 month...
Thanks!

Your temporary driver's ID is a valid ID. Also bring evidence that you applied for a new ID to interview. You'll be fine.

well did you file any police report for the fact that you have lost your ID?
i am not sure if this is bad luck cause you applied on Nov and already got your interview set up. SO you case is moving very fast so far.
Usually passport if valid, it can serve as a photo ID the DL and the state ID shows proof of your state residence which can also be shown by state tax paper or mails . you may still need to proof that your DL / StateID was lost .
in IL you get DL and state ID on the spot but for your n400 interview you got to wait sometime as I filed mine on oct 13 and my Interview is on March30

That's a good suggestion. I'll go get my police report tomorrow. And I'll make sure to bring my tax filing. Fingers crossed.
