Going to Atlanta for Passport Stamping on July 2-Friday

You do not need an appointment.
I went there at 6.15 am, was out after stamping at 7.45 am. Maybe you should come in the previous evening and stay over night so you can get there early and be done with it.

I still can not confirm if they are open on Friday. But as you said I plan to get there the day before.
Does any one know if Passport stamping can be done in any other office? For me, New Orleans office would be closer to me. But in my approval notice, Atlanta office is mentioned. Any info will be appreciated.

Try calling the NSC number to confirm. However, if you are wondering about the Fourth of July holiday, they are closed on Monday.

Not sure if you can stamp at other offices other than the one mentioned. Someone else will have to reply to you on that. You could ask for that Info as well when you call the NSC telephone number.
