My AP will expire on May 14th 2009 ( Already applied for renewal on Feb 28th 2009 ). Can I travel to India with the OLD AP in April in case I didnt get the new AP by that time ? I am planning to be in India from April 2rd to April 28th . I face any problem at port of entry ?

If you leave with the old AP you must return before that old AP expires, even if the new one is approved while you are gone. The new application will still be processed even if you travel with the old one, and you'll be able to use it for future travel after returning from this trip.

Is there any prob in port of entry as I will be returning to USA just 15 days before my old AP expires ?
If every thing else is OK, supposedly no problem even if you come few minutes before 12:00 AM on the day of expiration.
