going out of us while 485 pending

If my company transfers me back to India while my 485 is pending (over one year). Can the processing continue? Will going out of US create any problem?

So what are they going to do about the GC? Are they going to withdraw the I485? Do you have a contract which says they will pursue this I485 and will not substitute somebody else on your LC or I140?
In short, will the employment offer still be there after GC? Do you have written assurance in this regard?
That written assurance will be enough to make BCIS keep at it...
