I came to US on B1/B2 visa and then changed my status to F1. Now I just graduated from the Undergrad program(May 7th 2004) but failed to apply for the OPT. And I am planning to go to the Masters' school which will start in August 25th 2004. Ok now the problem is - I will be out of status in next 8 days. And my Masters' school haven't issued my new I-20 yet. They will issue it by August 1st 2004. Now what should I do.
- Should I fillout the I-539 (Reinstatment). If yes, then how much is the process time and what if I get denied.
- Any other suggestion.
