Hello,
My husband and I got married last year in march. Our I-130 was approved but my I-485 was denied because I had overstayed my visa waiver 2 months before we filed. Now I was asked to leave the country and so I did. I am back in Germany now and in another section of this forum, I was told to file I-824 and when the I-130 arrives I should file DS-230.
I am residing in Berlin right now and I was wondering if we can have the I-130 sent to the embassy in Berlin or will we have to have it sent to the consulate in Frankfurt? Because on this link http://germany.usembassy.gov/visa/consulates/ it says there is no immigrant visa unit in Berlin.
Also in part 2 section B of I-824, where it asks where to send the approved application - should he just say Berlin Embassy/US Consulate Frankfurt or does he have to type in the whole address? Because the whole address doesn't fit.
Thanks in advance for your answers
