lawyer not helping
My lawyer is basically clueless on this issue. He just keeps telling me that I shouldnt have given up H1B status if I planned on getting married. He said he will enquire with INS about the regulations regarding this, but never got back to me.

Please comment. My marriage got postponed, kind of indefinitely, so still in a limbo....
