As per todays update, my and my wife's EAD has got approved and card has been mailed to us.
I have a question regarding EAD and h4 stamping while in India.

Suppose, my wife starts to use her EAD from Oct 2005 onwards and in month of December we get our H1 and H4 stamping done in Mumbai (India).
In that case will EAD status go invalid just bcoz we got H4 visa stamped ? If yes then can restore the EAD status once again continuing to work using it when back in USA (Jan 2006).

Also one more question regarding reverting back to H4. Say for any reason our 485 gets denied then what is the way to get back onto H4.
AS per my knowledge if she has valid H4 visa stamped on her passport then she just has to go out of country and and reenter using H4 visa is that correct ?

Please let me know what you think about above queries

----------- if you are on H1 then then spouse can get H4 visa if on H4 status in US then you are on H1 and spouse on H4(f used EAD go out of US and enter on H4)

just to confirm, as per yor explanations .So if my wife uses EAD now but travels India without AP, and gets new h4 visa stamped in mumbai (as due my job I change we have new approvals). This will not not hinder her EAD status, and she will use her h4 to renenter USA (as she may not have AP ). ?

Correct ..
-------------- if she gets H4 visa stamp from Bombay then she can enter on H4 status and will get I-94 valid till H4 visa stamp.having H4 visa stamp has nothing to do with her EAD or AP, EAD AP are based on pending I-485, H4 Visa stamp is based on primay H1 status

** if you see any problems for her H4 visa stamping then it is better to apply her AP while she is in US and should depart US with approved AP in hand if she need to use AP for entry to US. having AP is good back up even if you dont want to use AP

Thankyou very much for suggestions.

fyi .. I have applied for her AP, and also lined up and visa interview at mumbai.
I was planning to het H4 visa stamped even if she gets her AP. This is because later on while working on EAD if atall we face any probles with pur 485 and she has to be back on H4, then she has to go out and reneter on valid H4 visa tsamped on her passport.
