Hi Ginnu/Other members

I have applied for canadian immigration including my wife and kid. The status has changed to "Decision Made".

Meanwhile my company had applied for my US GC and I am into the final stage.. they have filled for my 140 and 485 DEC 2003. If I am employed for another 6 months then I should have no porblem with job in US.

Now the dilema is whether to send the passport CIC for stamping..becuase I sam IT jobs are not easy to get in Canada... I am IT person and I have no plan to do other jobs...should I get the CDN PR and wait for US GC... or cancel the CDN PR... I am kind of confused... What is the adv having the CDN PR... while my US GC is being processed?

Thanks in advance for your answers

---- To use AC21 you need I-140 to be approved AND I-485 pending more than 180 days and you will be safe only once I-140 gets approved. Actual GC may come after 24-30 months as all the service centers have I-485 backlog

---- Dear Canada PR has nothing to do with Your US GC, if you have paid all the fees to CIC then nothing wrong sending PP for Visa stamp if ROLF not paid then you can get ROLF back and write them that you don’t want t Canada PR as your situation has changed. It is true that Canada has no IT jobs, many people get Canada PR for different reasons and if you applied for keeping IT job in mind then it is up to you to decide but if you get Canada PR then also you can stay out of Canada 3 years in any 5 years. You have to decide for yourself , if you stay near to Canada border then you can land and come back next day if you are not staying near to Canada border then you may have to take flight for Canada if you want to land. Or you can ask the CIC your ROLF back
