Im planning to visit Spain for a very short time ( 6 Days ).
My current status is LPR (AS8 Code).
I was checking the requirements to get a VISA to Spain since as a Citizen of Colombia im required to obtained it prior to travel. However, they asks for thousand of documets and more.....almost impossible to go there.

As a Asylee by getting a RTD i dont need anything else right??

What is the easisest way to get there???

All comments are welcome.

I guess i better eother comply with Spain Consulate documents, or get the beatiful RTD which i have never used before.

Thanks anyways.

they always check your background

If you want to go to Spain, be prepared, they going to check your background, sometimes, it takes almost 3 weeks to get the visa, all the Schengen Countries check the colombian background....if you want to go a really nice consulate, you can go to the netherlands consulate....be prepare and have a lot of patience!!!!!

I would say BELGIUM.If you can't provide bank statement because you don't have a banking account or the account you have is not in good standing,Travel check ok. Belgium,Nederland and Luxembourg ( These three countries make one named BENELUX) are the only countries to accept travel checks in place of three months bank statement.

Belgium embassy has started to take fp for all visa applicants..not that anything is wrong with that..I rather get a visa without the fingerpint hassle.

Since you guys brought the subject to my mind, I should say that I am traveling to Paris and this is the crazy thing. I had to schedule an appoinment with embassy and I did it two weeks ago and the earliest time was next Tuesday. I mean come on.
Does anyone have expereience with this embassy (PR and RP) (no passport)
