Getting married soon.. pls help

Hi GC guru's,
My fiance( bride) is an USC and I am on H1 visa. We are getting soon within few weeks. I may hire attorney for my GC process(I 130,485...)., but before this, could some body let me know what kind of other documents I need to prepare all like marriage certificate etc, name change in PP etc.. .

Also we are gettting married in India not in US. Would it be a concern in any way for my GC processing? What documents do we need to bring from India?

Please advice asap.

lots of pix..and specially if u hindu then of the agni, saat phere, maang bharing, etc etc anything to prove you two did actual marriage. Marriage certificate (may be even invitation but we didn't take those). Once you start living togeather..bills, joint bank accounts statements etc, whatelse, lemme think..umm..i'll add when i get home from my checklist.

1 Get married
2 Change Name & Address on SSN
3 Change Name & Address on Driver License

Then

I- 130 Petition for Alien Relative*
I- 485 "Application to Register Permanent
Residence or to Adjust Status"
I- 765 Application for Employment Authorization
I-131 Application for Travel Document*



"Lease agreement or house ( cheques signed
from the same account by both )"
Joint Tax returns
Joint Credit cards
Joint Bank accounts & cards
Check book names
Joint Property ( optional)
Pictures - Engagement & Marriage
Pictures - Long weekends parties etc
Joint Health insurance
Joint Car insurance
Joint Costco cards
Joint Utility bills ( Water, Garbage, )
Joint letters from Friends and family christmas cards etc
Joint letter from the Temple

PS you also have to prepare for medical stuff

Joint credit card statements, pictures together, affidavits from people that know you both, wedding cards and pictures, receipts for the wedding and honeymoon.
