Getting married after getting the G.C.?

Hi everyone,

I'll need some advices about getting married after getting the G.C. Situation is like this:
I've got G.C. and came to the US in October this year. I've found good job here (legal one, in good IT company...), seen that I can live here and now I would like to bring here my future wife (it came that way that we could not get married before the interview for the G.C. :(). Is it possible anyhow? Should I get back home and marry her, or should she apply for some (which one?) specific kind of visa and come here to get married here? What status she can have in that case?

WARNING: We are not interested in illegal solutions!!! (such as getting married to some US citizens to get the G.C.)

Thanks!!!

Does she qualify for an H or L visa?

If not, your only option is to get married, file an I-130 in FB2 and wait the 1-3 years for the visa to become available.

I am confused, the warning is directed towards whom? What is an illegal IT job? As it appears that you found a legal one...:) I have an illegal solution for your future-wife-to-be, why doesn't she get an F1 visa, to pursue some college degree, assuming she doesn't have any or could do continuing diploma in some college in your city, so that she can be closer to you and help you manage the weather? She could be here for about 4 years, and have an OPT for a year, and by that time, you could be eligible for US citizenship and sponsor her as your spouse?

I think that L and H are not available to her... please correct me if I'm wrong. As I get it, you need to find the job here at the company that will provide some guarantees for you (I've been told that they don't do that any more, just in some special cases) or you need to be already employee of the company that has or wants to create USA office.

@Al Southner
warning is for suggestions to fake marriage with someone from here just to get the papers. We don't wanna place ourselves in the position to loose our chance to live here.
If you read it write, I just said that the job is legal not that it is "legal IT job". You never heard that someone works illegally? I doubt. :) n.h.f. ;)
F1 sounds good, but I'll need to find some "General linguistics" master studies in NYC. :)

Thank you both for help.
