My son wife came from Nova Scotia with 2 children..married in IND in 2004.
She just recently completed paper work and received her Social Security #.
The son returned to NS in 2005. The daughter is 10 yrs old. Only has TN so my son can claim her on tax return. They are currently working with an immigration lawyer in Indianapolis IN. This lawyer has admitted she's not familiar with Canada Immigration laws. So complicated. Is there a law firm in
Canada that she can correspond (phone) with as to getting the process completed for my granddaughter to remain here and legally become a US
citizen?

If the granddaughter wants to live in the US, what does this have to do with Canadian immigration laws?

If your son is a US citizen, he can sponsor his wife and stepdaughter for a Green Card.
