getting layed off

my Priority date is October 22, 2001. But I think by the
end of this month our whole division is getting layed off.
I have got an EAD card.

Can any one help by indicating -
what documents I need get before I get layed off ?

Since Iam not technically layed off still, I can still get an
employment letter. is there anything specific to be mentioned
in the employment letter ?
I can have the paystubs upto October 2002.

- start looking for a job ASAP
- ask for an Emplyment Letter stating your job position
- paystub that will cover until the very last day you are with the company

Also..

If U have some vacation...
Make Sure U ask the company to keep U as an employee after UR last dat, for the duration of UR vacation...
As U can continue getting Paystubs....which can be of great Help.....

But we got a later news that I can have the option of relocating to Chicago. So I will mostly be able to keep my job in my present company.

Iam keeping looking for a job also.
