Getting Layed off Need Help

Hi All, :(

My last day is August 28. Receipt date for my I-485 is 8/24/2001. I called up IIO yesterday they said it will be another week after which my case will be taken up.

There are scenario

1) I may get my GC with out any RFEs.
2) I may get an RFE.

Recommend should I transfer the case from my employer to an attorney right now or should I wait for the RFE to come and then hire an attorney at that time.

I think you will be all set any way..

I mean right now Lot of AUG cases are getting approved or getting RFE , you may get approved by grace of god by the end of this month you still have 10 days to go.

even though you get a RFE they may ask for the resent pay stubs. you will still have pay stubs untill end of AUG 2001 , so even you get a RFE you will submit the most resent pay stubs.

I think you should have other doccs. like tax returns ..etc
