receive a receipt back in October 2013 what other documents would I need to receive to get a drivers licence?

How long does it really take before I get an interview?

You can't get a driver's license until you have the EAD.

You posted in the asylum forum. Some states allow asylees to get driver's licenses. You need to tell us your state and what exact status you have.

i am in Georgia. I got the acknowledgement of receipt and did my finger printing

I think you need to wait for your EAD(Employment Authorization Document). You can apply for it after 150 days and it will be sent to you after 180 days. You take that card and get the social security first then go to DMV and apply for learners permit.
Once you get the learners permit, schedule a road test and you are all set.

you need EAD card + SSN to get your driver licence.
you can get the EAD if you granted asylum or after 150 days from filing date, you can also get your SSN after the EAD.
