Get passport request while move to another city

Hello,

I recently moved to another city. I have not informed the Canadian immigration office about the address change.

I got my passport request today.
Can I use the new current address on the return mail envelop so that the
returned passport will be sent to my current address?

Since the new return address does not match the address in the immigration file, will that cause problem?
