German Transit Visa

Hi Experts,

Here is my scenario.

1. I am in 485 stage, working on EAD don't have H1.
2. I am planning to go to India via Germany.
3. When i visited the German Consulate site they are saying that
i have to have a valid US visa to apply for German transit visa.

My questions are:

1. Will i be getting a transit visa, if yes what document i need to
send??
2. How long they will give the transit visa??
3. How long will it take to issue by German consulate to issue the transit visa??

Transit Visa for AP

Hello:
My wife is travelling to Chennai via Frankfort this month end. I called Atlanta German consulate and they informed, there is no need to get an transit visa while travelling in AP. I also email and got the reply from them informing the same.

Show them I-485 receipt notice and advance Parole. They know about that.
