I had another thread but looking at some of the responsed, i thought of opening this since i think it will be beneficial to all. I have general questions about the Reentry permit. I am trying to understand whether the REP assures of maintaining their GC or not?
Does having the REP assure us of an entry back to the US?
For e.g if a family returns to India on a temporary basis just to try their return out, works in India and then decides to come back to US. During their stay in India they obviously dont maintain their apartment/home but continue to keep credit cards, invest in the market and pay taxes.
Will they have any issues on return ? What are the questions that could be asked? Also when applying for REP, what is the reason they need to give
