General Question regarding I-140(EB3)

All,

I have a very basic question about the I-140, my LC was approved.. last month (Eb3) and I told my employer to apply for I-140. As all people in the forum knows about how mean our employers are :mad: so i was wondering how can i be sure whether my employer has really applied for my 140. Is there a way to track the 140. Please let me know

I advise you to insist on the receipt for I 140.

My labor was approved in 08/04 and I was told that 140 was filed in 10/04 but they never showed me the receipt, they kept on saying that it was with lawyer , later on I came to know that they filed it concurrent on 12/28/04 (just before retrogression) , they never told me that also. When INS mistakenly returned my kids 485 application , then on the application they put the I40 number and that showed 12/28/04 as RD.
