Paramvir1: That is great information, but it is a little painful to search through the links. Below is the link

http://www.immigration.com/newsletter1/nsconasyleadju.pdf. According to this, all receipients of RFI would get approved by October 2005. Correct me if my assumption is wrong.

Important

I think that this is really important to note:

"...Finally, asylee adjustment applicants who receive this Request for Initial Evidence must comply with the request. Applicants who submitted Forms I-693 and the Supplemental Form to I-693 as initial evidence with the Form I-485 do not have to resubmit these documents in response to this mass
mailing
. They should, however submit the updated G-325A and a statement that they submitted both medical forms as initial evidence Failure to comply with the Request for Initial Evidence within the time allotted will result in the application being denied due to abandonment."

This means that people who receive this standard RFI SHOULD NOT redo their medical if it was submitted with the original I-485 (I did for example). I saw many postings from people who were re-sending their medical even though they did it in the beginning. I am assuming that the RFI form itself does not clarify this fact and it is good to have this clarification from this document.

This is all good.

Thanks,
L.
