My case was approved on june 14th 2004. I recieved the approval notice on June 17th 2004. The online status and telephone case status unchanged, still says " The results for your finger print ....blah, blah .....

It came as a surprise as I niether recvd an email nor change on case status.

My case is AC-21 that went through without any hassles.

As I did not have an attorney , this forum helped a lot in getting information on important issues. I thank everybody in this forum for sharing information and for always being a kind of moral booster at times of desparation and hopelessness.

For those who are in the queue, if the processing dates are beyond your Notice date, I strongly recommend to write to the Senators.

Congratulations!!!!! This gives me hope, I'm in the same group as you.
Could you please tell me about your last update dates, do you know how they changed recently? Have you got a spouse, derivative applicant?
Did you write to BB and DF? Any answers from them?

I wrote ( faxed ) to BB. I faxed to her Spring street, LA office.In my letter I mentioned that the RD for my Case is 02/04/02 and USCIS is processing cases as of 03/01/02 and requested her to inquire USCIS as to when they will approve my case. I was very direct in addressing the issue. I sent the fax on 20 may 2004, and left to India on AP. When I returned back on 31st may 2004, there was letter from BB's office stating that I should contact her office by phone , if I had not heard from USCIS within the next 4 weeks.

Fortunately my case was approved within 4 weeks from the day I contacted the senator's office. In addition to this I had also sent my AC21 letter on the same day to USCIS.

My wife and son also got approved.

LUD on may 20 , 2004 was as follows:

Myself : 01/08/2004
My Wife : 05/04/2004
My Son : 10/15/2003


On may 28th may 2004 it was as follows :

Myself : 05/28/2004
Wife: 05/04/2004
My Son : 10/15/2003

On May 16th 2004 it changed to :

My self : 05/15/2004
My Wife : 05/15/2004
My Son : 05/15/2004

On 17th I recvd the AP by mail. Online status says the same old thing.Did not change to Approved.
