:) We went for the interview today in Seattle. It was very straight forward and it took the immigration officer 10 minutes to approve our case. All he asked for was my ID and my wife's passport. He did not even ask for a single document. We were told that her greencard will arrive in 7-10 days

My wife is currently going to school in Cleveland and I work in Seattle. We were very worried about our case because of the different living curcumstances. Our advise to anybody in a similliar situation is not to be too concerned as long long as your situation is geniune.

Just for the info for future cases following the questions he asked
1. When we first met and how we met
2. When we got married
3. Ho many people attended our wedding cermoney
4. What do I drive and wife drives
5. How much money I make year.
6. How offten do we travel
7. What is the value of our house
8. Does the Mortgage is on both of our names
9. What is the rent of the Cleveland apprtment

Applied for I485 on Dec 14, 2006
Receipt date Dec 23, 2006
Finger Printing Jan 12, 2007
AOS Interview March 8, 2007
Case approved - Will receive the GC in 7-10 days

Good luck to you all. World Peace! :D

congrat!!!
i have same situasion, i study in one place and my wife lives in another!!
i am so nervous about all this, cause i visit here once in a coupe weeks and we don't have a house:((

All will be well

Not to be too concerned as long long as your situation is geniune. All I would say is collect as much as evidence you have both your names on documents as such as Credit card bills, any travel documents, letters of communications, cell phone bills of calls between you and your wife, Land phone line bills. They can not deny your case all they can do is ask for more evidence if you guys do not sound geniune. We do not have both our names on our house paperwork and it was not an issue in our case.

These guys can tell just spending few minutes wheather your couple or not. Please do not be too concerned all will be well. Good luck!

Can you explain your situation some more? Where you were married, country immigrating from, any tips/tricks?

I am getting married to a norwegian on an F1 visa and am trying to figure it all out.

Congratulations...

HR,

Congratulations.... it seems the process was very smooth for you and spouse. Congratulations... and enjoy your card... :) Lastly, your GC act as a credit card too, the bill will go directly to US govt...but you are allowed to charge up to $21000....

There is a secret memo about this... ;)

Good luck to you all

Be honest and have all the documents sent to them even before they question your case. Good luck!~
