I am posting this question to forrum on behalf of my Uncle.

The situation is my Uncle will become US citizen next year. His one son is in India, he could'nt come to US (when my uncle immigrated) as he was over 21. My question is if my uncle sponsor him after becoming citizen how long will it take him to get immigartion.

Between five and eight years. If the son is unmarried then his father should file an I-130 for him ASAP to preserve the priority date, and the son should not marry until his father becomes a citizen.
