Hi,
I am not familiar with the process of applying GC.
I am a Mechanical engineer. I have worked as a Production engineer at for 3 1/2 years. Then I switched to software. I am working as a software engineer since Oct 1999 (5 1/2 years).
Will I qualify to file my GC under EB2 category.
Right now I am on L1-B visa (in US since July 2001). I was initially on H1-B (From July 2001 to Oct2002). Then my H1-B got ammended to L1. Since Oct 2002, I am on L1.
I am planning to get my H1 processed through a new employer and file my GC.
Can I file through PERM ? Is is benificial to file through PERM ?
It will be of great help if you can provide me with any information regarding my questions.
