I and ashley share very simular timeline. 485 approved on july13, gc sent on 15th, GC recieved on the 18th. The card is backdated a year. 3 biz days from zip the all. almost perfect

untill I found out that INS decide to misspell my first name...

hehe, this is what life is, isn't it? "deal with it", no biggie. I am still happy.

Congrats

Congratulations OneOfU. Like you said mis-spelled name is no biggie. It is USCIS mistake and you can file for the replacement at no cost. Just send them I-90 and copy of your GC until they request the original back.
Whether your name is spelled right or wrong but at least now your status is "Permanent Resident" and not "Asylee" and the clock for your citizenship has started ticking. I would just go out and party tonight if I was you.
