GC received today but got a question.. =)

i received my 2 year gc in the mail today. yay i was so happy . i already bought air ticket to travel back to my country on dec 29,06 weeks b 4 without having it in hand . now i can relief.

i m just curious. we got married on 3/24/05 . at that time she is permanent resident. she nutralized to b citizen on 3/10/06 . then we prepared for this GC process. i understand that the card i received is conditional and needs 2 years of marriage to get 10 yr GC. now my question is, how soon do i file application for removal of conditional status to have 10 yr GC. 2 yrs from getting married or 2 yrs from she being citizen? we should have waited until it's 2 yrs aniversary but anywayz... also how long do i have to wait to apply for CZ? on card . it said resident since 11/20/06 .. thanks in advance ..
 
You can apply to remove your conditions (I-751) 90 days before the 2nd anniversary of your GC. Your residence since date is 11/20/06. Add two years to it and take away 90 days.
 
i'm curious....you were approved on 11/20, but your infopass was on the 6th of dec and they didn't tell you anything? and then you received the approval email on the 6th? why did they choose the 20th for your date?

i got the email on the 4th of dec, but on my card it says resident since the interview date 10/19, i'm just wondering why they didn't put your interview date on the card. they obviously approved you on the 20th but can't believe they didn't tell you that at the infopass !
 
at info pass, i was appointed to a very informative lady. every question i asked about my case, she kept saying she has no info towards it except pending. that of course i know from online status check. then she made me fill out a green form to inquire about my case at garden city where my interview was conducted. and that was it. n e wayz , when i got home, i got email from uscis about welcome notice . i dun no if it was due to it ( though i know it couldn't b that fast ) or it just happened.
