GC received: middle name truncated, "resident since" doesn't match AD

Received my plastic card today.

Two questions:
1. Middle name is truncated to middle initial.
=> Should this be corrected? Should the middle name be shown in full as in one's passport?

2. "Resident since" date on the card is 20 days earlier than AD.
=> Why the discrepancy? Anyone else with the same issue?

For Item 2) From some messages on the board, it seems that the Approval notice date is not necessarily the Adjudication Date. You can check your Passport I-551 stamp (entry: DOE) to see if they match.

(Or is this just a case of green-card quest exhaustion with subsequent paranoia)

My resident since date is also approx. 20 days prior to my I-485 approval. CAFourEightFive, did you get this corrected ?
