GC Question

Hi
I am in the second year of H1B.My employer is not intrested in Filing for GC at this point.They may do Labor/GC filing after my first 3 years of H1B gets over.I get around 40 K in Kentucky in IT field.

Is it advisable to wait till my employer files GC or switch over employers atleast to improve my career and pay.Any suggestions .
 
If you do not have Masters degree file your GC immediately. Either Regular or RIR to get a earlier priority date. I think that is a bad salary for IT professional. you could try changing company and file for GC immediately.
