GC processing for H1 fiancee while my I-485 is pending

Folks,

I am currently on H1B and my company has filed my I-485 (EB-3) a while ago. My "current date" is 01-June. Now, my fiancee is currently on a H1B and her company is just starting to process her LC. We are planning to get married in July.

My biggest concern is, will it be too late in July to include her into my GC application process? I am looking for options on how it can be done so that she gets included in my applicaiton process before I get my GC. (exploring the option of getting married early if that helps)

Thoughts or recommendations will be greatly appreciated.

If your I-485 is approved before you get married, then yes, it'd be too late.

You need to ensure you are legally married before your I-485 is approved. Go to the courthouse and get it done.
 
If the I-485 date gets current, does that mean it is automatically approved? Or will there be a time duration during which I may have time to amend the application for my fiancee? And can I delay this time if need be?
