GC processing for family when they are in India

Hi,

I am H1b visa holder, got my labour certification and about to file my I-140. Now my family(wife and daughter) is relocated to India after staying six years in US. They will be in India for next 10 years and they may visit US for a month or two.

What options are available to get their Green cards while they stay outside US?

Is it possible for my family to visit US during my GC processing or after I got my GC?

What options are aviable to process GC for my family after I got my GC?

Please advise me.

They can go with CP, but if they wont come back next 10 years, GC may get void at some point.

After you got GC, it might be difficult to get non-immigrant visa.

GC process for LPR family is 7 years process.

What is your PD and EB category ?
if you are sure they wont come back in 10 years, one option is you get GC and wait for 5 year for citizenship(If you have a plan to be a US citizen), and then sponsor for them.. But whole timeframe highly depends on your PD/EB category because EB2, and EB3 for you is retrogressed a lot as of today.
