GC messed up twice

Guys,

Need your advise on something. I got my daugther's GC last year in Oct, in which the INS forgot to add a alphabet to the last name and I sent it back for correction. Now we received the new GC after 6 months and again there is a error in the last name where they were suppose to add an A they added a U to the last name otherwise everything else is correct.

My question is at the time of citizenship will this be a problem when we file the papers?

Yes. You need to fix it asap or later on you would have to pay a fee to fix it. Now its free if its their mistake.

Been in this situation before, they sent me the card 2 times, called them and wrote them soooo many times and it was only resolved through my congressman.
