Hi,

Consider the following:

1. Person has H1B from Company A
2. Company A applies for a GC
3. Employee leaves the company in less than 6 months and joins Company B

What is the impact on the GC? Does the person needs to apply the GC again from Company B?

I believe H1B can still be transferred from Company A to Company B?

H-1 will be transfered - but will need to reapply for GC unless you've got a deal with CO A where they don't inform CIS of your departure.
