Hi,

While submitting the I-485 application, my wife did not take
the vaccinations. Instead, she took a test to confirm that she
has taken them previously. It turns out that she did not take
the vaccination for varicella. Since, we were planning for a
baby at that time, we did not take that vaccination. She got
an RFE. We resubmitted the medical that she cannot take
the vaccination as we are planning for a baby. They called
for an interview now. We really don;t want to take that
vaccination. Anybody with similar experience, please let us
know what you did.

thanks

buser,

Could you please let us know your details - I mean RD, ND, when you got RFE, when you submitted the reply, when the case was transferred and when you have been scheduled for interview.

I've also been transferred to San Jose recently, I'd like to know from you that how long I have to wait for the interview.

Thanks in advance

My wife did not take 2-3 vaccination for family planning reseason. However we paid extra $250 for alternative examination. You might check this out with immigration physicient.

I think you don't have to worry about this .. as if they called u for interview only for the medical exams.. it should be OK.. May be get a letter for your Doctor (who did u r medical check up)..

Even we had interview 2 months back, and when we submitted our medical exams.. my wife just told the doctor she may be pregnent so the doctor wrote the same on the medical exams..

I'm living in Santa Clara.

Do you know anybody who has got the interview letter recently?

Thanks

Sorry I do not know anyone like that.

If someone lives in Sunnyvale and Mountain View, I suppose they will be interviewed in San Jose. Am I right? Can anybody confirm that?

yes it is true
Santa clara county comes under SJC and alameda county comes under SFO.
