Hello guys!
I have an interview in the end of May.
I've been to States before. In 2007-2008 I was doing my internship program in IT on J1 visa (11 months). It was paid internship so I was making money and was paying taxes as well. Now I'm wondering if I have to bring to the embassy some sort of prove that I paid all my taxes properly?

Please advice.
Thank you so much!

I dot thik they need them, but it's plus if you bring them to the interview, so bring every thing and all supporting documents to your interview, bring any thing can help you to get this visa man

good luck

Request the tax transcript from IRS (which you can get it for free). Use form 4506-T, which should be available on IRS website. That is a proof from IRS that you filed your tax return, just a copy of your 1040 would not be a proof enough. Good luck.
