GC interview and no decision was made....Please post your experience here !
Hi,
My wife & I went thru my wife's GC interview in Atlanta on Monday the 22nd of September. Our interview went pretty well, but unfortuantely the IO did not make a decision right there on the spot. He told us that there seems to be a dual file issue (I-130 missing) and he needs to order the file in order to merge both I-130 and I -485 together. He took my wife's I-94 card which was stapled with the passport. He also kept other paperwork such as joint bank statements, apartment leasing paperwork showing both our names, car insurance, my childrens birth certificates, my last year tax return and my employment letter. In the end the officer said that everything looks good in the system. You guys are all set. You will get a written decision in the mail once we take care of this other file.
I was wondering if anyone here went thru this same kind of experince. If they could kindly post their timeline, it will give an idea as to when to expect a written decision in the mail.
Thank you.
