GC holder need advice regarding Naturalization/marriage

Hello, I would highly appreciate your advice.

I got my GC 7 years back but i broke continuity (stayed more than 1 year outside with permit). Re-entered in September 2012 and have been here since then.
When will I be eligible to apply for citizenship ??
And how long will it take to get citizenship once I start the process ?

I am planing on getting married in Dec 2015 in India. Should I wait until I get my citizenship (as I would need to bring my spouse here) ?
or should I get married in Dec 2015 and apply for i-130 for my spouse ? which will be faster ?

You'll have to wait 4 years plus 1 day from the day you returned for good in 2012. You cannot apply 90 days before that date, so around October 2016 would be safe.

The processing time of N-400 is about 3 to 6 months.
Short travel to India is OK, but it's better not to exceed 3 months.
As a US citizen, applying for the spouse is quicker than Green Card Holder in most scenarios.
