GC holder marrying an F1

All,

I am a permanent resident of the US. My would-be wife is on an F1 status. We are geting married soon. Are there any issues if I apply for her permanent residency (I-130 & then 485) if she is on F1?

If someone, who has gone through a similar situation or knows the intricacies of the scenario, can reply back, it would be much appreciated. Thank so much!

I haven't gone through it myself, but the only difficulty she will have -- if she travels overseas - she may not be able to come back (due to proved immigrant intent). SHe may not get an F-1 visa, and even if she has a multiple entry one for several years -- she may be turned away at point of entry. Other than re-entry -- no problems.
