GC haven't arrived yet

Hi,

I have a question. My wife and me have been here for almost 6 weeks already. Our POE was Washington and now we live in Florida. We gave them our friend adress to have a GC to be sent over there. But we still didn't get our GC and not even any Welcome Letter. Can somebody give me advice who should I contact to find out what's going on? Please if you have any advice let me know. I don't know what to do. Thanks

yes, you call 1-800 number from USCIS website and verify the addess they have for you.
you should also ask your friend to write your name inside his mailbox.

yes, they can tell you if they sent it, whether it came back, and in general - what happened to it.

You don't need a welcome letter, but getting it usually indicates that USCIS has the correct address for you and that the US postal office will most likely deliver your GC as well.

if you didn't get at least one welcome letter by now, I'd start worrying.
